IPTV TROUBLESHOOTING: UNABLE TO CONNECT TO SERVER
Rejection is not easy and it is important for you, the user, to know what to do when they are not allowed to proceed! Below are the proper steps on how to reconnect when you are having server connection issues.
Unable to connect to server
Internet connectivity
I know this sounds crazy, but have you checked your internet connection to make sure it is working properly? You don’t want this to be the last thing you check. This happened to me after being furious for two whole hours. Don’t be me.
Restart your device
Self-explanatory and should be done in most troubleshooting scenarios.
Try a different app
It will be in your best interest to keep two different apps set up with your login credentials at all times. This is an easy test to see if you are having a problem with a particular software and will save you time troubleshooting unnecessary things. If one works and the other doesn’t, stop here because you have found your problem. Try reinstalling the faulty software or upgrading to the latest version.
Subscription Expiration
Your IPTV streaming app will in most cases display the expiration date of your service. If not, check with your provider to make sure you haven’t missed a payment.
Check your login details
Check with your provider to make sure nothing has changed with your username and login. This shouldn’t be the case, but shouldn’t be ruled out.
Server Credentials
Sometimes your provider may need to change the portal/DNS URLs in order to stay afloat. Did you miss any change announcements? Check with your provider ASAP!
Side note, if you have a MAC address, you need to make sure that nothing is wrong with your provider’s panel. Ask them to check your MAC in the system.
VPN Connection
If your VPN is on, try connecting with it off. If your VPN is off, try connecting with it on.
Try a different device
I know you didn’t mean to do this, but you need to try connecting on a different device. A phone or computer will do in a pinch.
