HOW TO INSTALL THIRD-PARTY APPS ON LG SMART TV?
The LG Smart TV Store offers many apps, but not all of them. So if you need an app that isn’t available, here are two easy methods depending on your TV’s operating system:
- Via Netcast
- Via WebOS

1. VIA NETCAST
If your LG Smart TV runs on Netcast, here’s how to do it:
- Turn on your LG Smart TV and activate the Netcast launcher by pressing the Home or Start button on your remote.

But what if your LG Smart TV doesn’t have Netcast? No worries—there’s another method.
2. VIA WEBOS OPERATING SYSTEM
If your LG Smart TV uses WebOS, here’s how to install third-party apps:
- Turn on your LG Smart TV and open the WebOS launcher by pressing the Home button on your remote.
- Scroll down and select More Apps to see additional options.
- Open the TV’s app store.
- Go to the Premium category and search for the app you want to install.
